winter housing for silkies
« on: August 17, 2011, 18:47 »
I am new to keeping silkies and was wondering whether to put them in an old green house over the winter? our lawn is very small and the grass won't survive the winter with them on it.  Any comments?

Yes  - so that the greenhouse replaces their usual run (so it's sheltered and dry over winter).  The bottom of the greenhouse is soil.
